Co-Occurring Specialist: PACT 2 and  3-Union County, PACT 7-Passiac County, PACT 9-Bergen County, PACT 12- Essex County, (West Orange), RIST-3- Tri-County (Annandale), and RIST 5-Hudson/Essex Counties,

 

POSITION OVERVIEW for PACT:

As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, provides highly individualized services for enrollees who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Assesses history and current needs/preferences of the person served in the areas of mental health and substance use. Works with the person served and the team to develop integrated mental health and substance use treatment goals and interventions. Provides clinical leadership for PACT staff in the area of co-occurring treatment.  The Co-Occurring Specialist  provides assessment and direct service for people with serious and persistent mental illness and persons with co-occurring substance use issues enrolled in the PACT Program.  This position is 70-80 % community based.

 

Department: Union PACT 2

Salary: $51,000 (if not certified) - $61,000 

Location:  Union, NJ , Serving Union County, NJ 

Work hours: Monday- Friday 8-4:30p  Full time 40 hours per week 

 

Department:  PACT 3- Union County

Salary: $56,500- $61,000

Location:  Union, NJ

Work hours: Monday-Friday (9am-5:30pm) – 1 late day (10am-630p) Full time- 40 hours’ weekly

 

Department:  PACT 7-  Passaic County

Salary: $56,500- $61,000

Location:  Little Falls, NJ

Work hours: Monday-Friday (8:30 am - 4:30pm) – Full time- 40 hours’ weekly

 

Department:  PACT 9- Bergen County

Salary: $56,500- $61,000

Location:  Elmwood, NJ

Work hours: Tuesday-Saturday (8:30am-4:30pm) –  Full time- 40 hours’ weekly

 

Department: Essex PACT 12

Salary: $60,000- $65,000

Location: West Orange, NJ , Serving Essex County, NJ 

Work hours: Tuesday-Saturday 8-4:30p  Full time 40 hours per week 

 

POSITION OVERVIEW for RIST: 

Under the direction of the Team Leader-Licensed or Wellness Clinician-Licensed, provides direct services to individuals to secure and maintain permanent housing, assesses history, current needs and preferences of person’s served in the areas of mental health and substance use. Works with persons served and the team to develop integrated individualized mental health and substance use treatment goals and interventions.

 

Department: CSS:  Tri-county Rist (RIST 3)

Salary: $50,000

Location:  Annandale, NJ

Work hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9am – 5pm -40 hours’ weekly

 

Department:  RIST 5 – Hudson/Essex County

Salary: $42,800 - $49,200 (if not certified)      $55,000 - $59,900 (CADC)

Location:  Union, NJ -  Serving Essex and Hudson Counties 

Work hours: Monday-Friday (9am-5:00 pm)  Full time- 40 hours’ weekly

Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR PACT Programs:

Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field
Must have CADC/LCADC required in accordance with the Alcohol and Drug Licensing and Certification Act, N.J.S.A. 45:2D-1 et seq.
A minimum of two years’ experience providing dual disorder/co-occurring services
Valid driver’s license required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR RIST Programs:

Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, counseling, psychology or criminal justice. Master’s Degree preferred
CADC required
A minimum of 2 years paid, progressive work experience in co-occurring/Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment services or human service experience with strong knowledge of addictions.
Experience as a person in recovery preferred.
1-year experience if certified as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner
Those who disclose they are in recovery must have two years’ clean time.
Valid driver’s license required No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
