Licensed by the Marriage and Family Therapy Board of New Jersey, Drug and Alcohol Committee, a Consultant LCADC, CCS, will provide services to CURA, Inc. as a _Consulting Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. This service provision is specific to the grant funded Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services to the adult Newark residential facilities.
The Consulting Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor will ensure the clinical supervision of assigned counselor interns as well as assistance in provision of quality and effective direct care services, its subsequent documentation, clinical reporting, assessment, treatment planning, transition planning; referral activities, caseload maintenance including documentation, and other programmatic recommendations made by supervision. Strict adherence is required to the agency, as well as the field’s code of ethics, NJ statutes and regulations governing the profession, and licensure accreditation standards.
The Consulting Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor assures that all clinical interventions are documented on the appropriate agency service form, and clinical record according to the VP/CTS and Director of Treatment recommendations, agency policy and procedures for treatment record protocols for all related provision of service(s), DMHAS requirements, New Jersey State Licensure Standards, DCI Initiative, and all other related requirements.

The Consulting Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor will have a Master’s Degree in Human Services, Mental Health or Social
Work, with a current LCADC/LPC/LCSW/APN and CCS certifications and be Bi-lingual in Spanish and English with An ability to demonstrate English oral and written skills.
