We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to provide support and guidance to individuals dealing with addiction and substance use challenges. The counselor will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group counseling sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine the severity of substance use and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs and goals.
• Provide counseling services, including one-on-one and group therapy sessions, to address addiction and related mental health concerns.
• Educate clients and their families about the recovery process, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, social workers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., CADC, LADC) preferred.
• Strong understanding of addiction and recovery principles.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
