Reprieve Recovery Center will be opening soon. We are looking to build a team that has the ability to change lives.

We are a substance abuse treatment center seeking a full-time and a part-time primary therapist to join our enthusiastic team of multidisciplinary professionals. Reprieve Recovery Center is actively seeking a therapist who is well versed in treatment for substance use disorder and mental health. Reprieve utilizes a 12-step program of recovery and abstinence-based approach to treatment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitate weekly individual session with each client on caseload
  • Proactively and clinically address client behavioral issues/concerns as they arise
  • Provide oversight of all clients assigned to your caseload to ensure they have followed up with directives provided
  • Ongoing follow up to ensure and reinforce of 12-step participation and step work
  • Contact family member(s) via telephone to provide an update on progress in treatment and provide education on boundaries needed
  • Perform clinical documentation within electronic medical record (KIPU) including ASAMs, bio-psychosocial assessment, treatment plans, transfer summaries, family contact notes, clinical intervention notes, and DAP notes
  • Facilitate didactic/group therapy sessions as scheduled weekly following evidence-based curriculum designed to support recovery
  • Create a therapeutically safe environment provides clear boundaries with all clients
  • Actively participate and collaborate within weekly clinical meetings

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the substance use treatment modalities (CBT/MI), trauma informed, motivational enhancement, active listening, empathetic responding, 12-step recovery program, CBT skills, DBT skills, WRAP and confidentiality practices
  • At least one year experience in a substance abuse treatment setting
  • Must have Masters Degree in related field(s): social work, psychology, counseling along with NJ State licensure (LAC, LPC preferred, LSW, LCSW preferred)
  • Must have CADC, LCADC or CCS
  • Strong documentation skills in adherence with DMHAS regulations, Joint Commission, UR/Managed Care, ASAM standards
  • Proficient computer skills, Google Suite, Office, KIPU, Windows, Microsoft teams
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday allowing for schedule flexibility, requires two evenings a week.
