An integral program for the Financial Assistance and Residential Services Division of Greater Bergen Community Action, the Ladder Project is a NJ State halfway house that provides intensive services for men who are recovering from chronic substance abuse. Utilizing established treatment strategies combined with the Twelve-Step philosophy, peer support and clinically oriented counseling interventions, the Ladder Project has helped its members achieve success in returning to mainstream society and living a productive drug-free life.
The program is licensed by the NJ Department of Mental Health, Division of Addiction Services (DMHAS) as a half-way house treatment facility for twenty (20) adult men. Clinical staff include several Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADCs), Social Workers, and a nutritionist. The program is guided by an established set of polices and procedures, in accordance to the rules and regulations established by DMHAS.
