Transcript Review for LCADC/ CADC

For Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselors.

The only documents acceptable for review will be certificates of completion from our Approved Educational Providers that are coded with an approval number or official sealed transcripts sent  or emailed from college or university directly to us. You will receive the email address after payment is completed.

You must send the official course descriptions that are published by the college or university.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are only acceptable for renewal (recertification). CEUs do not count towards initial licensure or certification.

Results will be mailed to you within 90 days after payment for the review request and all documentation is received. Once you have been approved you and the DCA will receive our official transcript with a red seal that indicates completion of the standard.

All concerns must be addressed in writing by replying to the email you will receive after payment.
In order to expedite processing please be sure your name when you check out on certbd.org matches the name on your official transcripts.

After we receive payment, transcripts and any needed course descriptions,

  • If we have all paperwork you will receive an email saying we are ‘Waiting for Board Decision’. You should receive a decision within 90 days. Please do not contact us prior to the end of this 60 day window from when we receive your information and payments.
  • If some paperwork is missing you will receive an email saying we are  ‘Waiting for Client paperwork ‘.

We cannot return transcripts.
