New Directions Behavioral Health Center offers Partial Care Programs for adults and other supportive services to families throughout Essex and surrounding Counties, as well as intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment services.

Our program was created in response to growing concerns for individuals and their loved ones, suffering the devastating effects of mental illness and drug addiction.

Our staff is committed to providing high quality behavioral health services in a caring and compassionate treatment environment.

We offer immediate access to Substance Abuse Assessments, Mental Health Evaluations and appropriate placement in the matching level of care.

Transportation, snacks and meals are provided daily and holidays are celebrated with holiday meals both in and outdoors.

Offsite excursions provide clients the safe opportunity to integrate into enjoyable and sober activities at no cost to them.

No client is turned away due to lack of ability to pay for services. Our scholarship program facilitates the admission of the truly indigent client.
