Company Information
Vision:
Our vision is to rebuild families’ one life at a time through comprehensive relational, mental health and addictions rehabilitative services.
Mission:
To provide individual, family and group counseling integrated with Christian beliefs to those suffering with mental illness, addictions or co-occurring disorders and to assist those individuals in establishing connections and reconnection to their families, to their communities and to the business world.
Business Description:
The goal of Family Care Connections is to provide a Christian faith-based family, co-occurring, mental health and substance abuse treatment with a client centered approach. We focus on the individual to provide comprehensive and collaborative services to enable the client to become independent and to successfully reconnect with family and to re-enter society as a productive member. A part of the readiness activities would include partnering with some of Gloucester county’s community agencies such as the Department of Labor to provide resume writing, interviewing skills and job placement, the salvation army to supply clothing appropriate for job interviews and the work environment, homeless agencies to provide housing referrals, transportation agencies and with a local Psychiatrist to conduct psychological evaluations. As part of our program we will include individual and group counseling as well as family therapy, relapse prevention, education/substance abuse awareness and 12-steps programs in collaboration with Addictions Victorious (and other 12 step organizations). While in treatment, random urine screens will be taken from the client to ensure that they are free from the illegal substance.
Family Care Connections also has affiliated with the Driving Under the Influence Initiative (DUII) which provides funding for those clients with no insurance, South Jersey Initiative (SJI) which provides funding for clients under the age of 25, Work First New Jersey (SAI), Work First would send client referrals to our organization with the goal to help welfare clients re-enter the workforce, Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC) and Community Churches.
Company Background: Family Care Connections is built on 30 years of collective experience. Our providers are trained in Marriage and Family therapy, mental health and addictions counseling. Our experienced staff will ensure that we will provide our clients with services that have been proven to make a change in the lives of those in need.
Distribution Channels: As we receive client referrals from churches, hospitals, the various agency affiliates and the Department of Labor, we will in turn provide therapy to help the individual heal. Once the client is ready, we will refer the client back to the community such as to churches if the client desires spiritual/community involvement, to the Department of Labor for job referrals and to their families to restart their lives as a cohesive unit.
