In 100+ years we have transformed the lives of 12,750 youth and their families, and by the year 2025, we want to change the lives of 2,000 more youth and families in crisis. We take youth from crisis to success by providing the most comprehensive care for historically under-served youth and their families in New Jersey. Our extraordinary school and therapeutic residential community serves boys, ages 12 – 21. A fully-accredited and nationally-recognized residential treatment center, Bonnie Brae provides a safe place for youth to heal, to learn and to grow. Nearly all boys and girls who come to Bonnie Brae have suffered abuse, trauma or neglect. Many have significant addiction, mental health, learning and behavior challenges. Treatment begins with forming positive relationships between traumatized children and caring, knowledgeable staff.

We serve between 90 to 114 boys at our main campus which is situated on 100 beautiful acres in Liberty Corner, and 21 young men are in community-based transitional living homes in New Brunswick, Bound Brook and Bridgewater.  We also recently opened a 5 bed community-based residential crisis stabilization home in Chester that serves males, females, non-binary and transgendered youth ages 13-18.  It’s the first time in our history providing residential services to females. For over 100 years, when all other resources have failed, we have offered young men and now young women a chance to succeed, and the opportunity to achieve “Small Victories. Every Day.”
