The Oral Exam – Case Presentation Method

The Oral Exam is a measure of the counselor’s alcohol and drug counseling experience using Birch and Davis’s Core Functions and the IC&RC’s 46 Global Criteria.
In order to test write up a case, have you supervisor sign off that this was case of yours at the agency and have a DCA Approval to test letter ( Letter must be dated within the last 365 days).

Rescheduling:
If you fail to show up for your examination at the scheduled time, do not have the proper identification, or do not have your admission document, you will not be allowed to sit for your exam. You will be considered a ‘No-Show’, your examination fees will be forfeited, and you will be required to re-register and pay all fees prior to sitting for the exam.  By making this payment you acknowledge that you have read and understood the  rescheduling conditions.

After you make your payment you should upload the signed copy of your Case Study and and the Test Approval letter from the DCA-ADCC .
Once accepted, you will receive an email for your oral exam date after this form is received by the Certification Board.

If you are unable to scan the documents but prefer to pay online please let us know in the notes section when you pay and mail your Test Approval letter from the DCA-ADCC to the Certification Board.

Online fees include a 3% online convenience fee.

Once your application has been processed we will contact you to arrange for the exam time.
