The Egyptian Tourist Visa allows eligible foreign travellers to visit Egypt for tourism. Depending on nationality, travellers may be able to apply for an electronic visa online or may need to obtain a visa through an Egyptian embassy or consulate. The official Egypt e-Visa portal provides an online application route for eligible visitors. Applicants should check their nationality and visa requirements before making travel arrangements. A valid passport and the required supporting information are needed for the application. Travellers should also keep a printed copy of an approved e-Visa, as the Egyptian authorities require the e-Visa printout to be presented at the port of entry. Holding an e-Visa does not itself guarantee admission, as the final decision is made by immigration officials.
