The Kenya eTA is an Electronic Travel Authorisation issued by the Government of Kenya to eligible foreign travellers before they travel to the country. It is a permission to travel rather than a final guarantee of entry, as admissibility is decided at the border. Most visitors must obtain an approved eTA before starting their journey. Applicants normally need a passport valid for at least six months after their planned arrival, with at least one blank page, along with a photo, contact details, travel itinerary and accommodation information. Applications are submitted through the official Kenya eTA website. Standard applications are usually processed within three working days, although processing can sometimes take longer.
