The Mongolia eVisa Online system allows eligible foreign travelers to apply electronically for authorization to visit Mongolia without first submitting a traditional paper visa application at a diplomatic mission. Applicants begin by selecting their nationality, passport type, visa purpose, and intended duration, then provide personal and travel information and upload the required documents. The official eVisa system requires the passport or qualifying travel document to be valid for at least 180 days when applying. After payment and document review, approved applicants receive an electronic visa or Electronic Travel Authorization by email. Travelers should carry a copy of the approved eVisa when arriving in Mongolia. The Immigration Agency also states that an eVisa is non-extendable and non-convertible.
