The Thailand eVisa allows eligible foreign nationals to apply for a Thai visa online without submitting the application in person at a Thai embassy or consulate in many cases. Since January 1, 2025, foreign nationals can apply for a Thai e-Visa from anywhere outside Thailand. The online process involves creating an account, completing the application form, uploading supporting documents, paying the applicable fee, and waiting for processing. Once approved, the e-Visa confirmation document is sent by email. Thailand's e-Visa platform covers several categories, including tourism, transit, business, study, diplomatic travel, Smart Visas, and Long-Term Resident Visas. Applicants should select the category matching their purpose and verify the latest requirements before applying.
