The Uganda eVisa is the online visa application system used by visa-required travelers planning to visit Uganda. Applicants must submit their application online before traveling because Uganda does not issue visas on arrival to visa-prone travelers. The official process requires applicants to select the appropriate visa category, complete the electronic form, upload supporting documents, and submit the application for immigration review. Depending on the purpose of travel, documents can include a passport bio-data page, recent passport photograph, Yellow Fever vaccination certificate, invitation letter, recommendation letter, or police clearance. Once approved, the applicant receives an electronic Travel Authorization or approval letter, which should be printed and presented together with a valid passport at the border.
